#Kodak Photo-CD Problem

We cannot make our NEC CDR-84 read Kodak Photo-CDs. NEC say that we must ask you. We run EZ-SCSI for Dos/Windows V1.0 REV-2B on a Dell 433 SE. We can read all "normal" CDs with no problems. Any ideas/drivers/fixes available, please?

You need to get EZ-SCSI version 2.0 to read Photo CD discs. Contact Adaptec for an updated driver. You should be able to find it on their BBS at 408-945-7727.

I just contacted Adaptec (John Lloyd [Adaptec];70714,3214) and was informed that version 2.0 has NOT been released. Therefore you still can't read photo-cd's with the Adaptec drivers….. CU, Gerjan

Actually, EZ-SCSI was released about 2 weeks ago. Try contacting Adaptec tech support directly by phone at 800-959-7274 and see what happens; or check their BBS for the updater.
