#CDROM as a net resource

Dear sir,
I have a NOVELL NetWare 3.1 network connecting some PC's (DOS). I
intend to buy a SPARC 10 compatible (UNIX) station. I want to use the
same CD-ROM for both workstations ( SPARC & PC).
a. Is it possible to use the same CD-ROM device for DOS and UNIX
discs ?
b. Do you know whether the CD-ROM is accessible from a PC DOS
workstation through the Netware ?
c. If the answer to one of the above questions is yes,
Will any CD-ROM in the market do ?
Do I need to order special software or hardware ?

1. Yes, you can use the same device for both DOS and UNIX discs.
2. There are packages available that allow sharing of a CD-ROM on a NetWare
LAN. If you are planning on mounting UNIX discs on your NetWare server, you'll
want to make sure that the software you use supports the Rock Ridge spec.
We sell both the hardware and software that you'd need to do what you want. If
