#A1200 Hard Drives

On 14-Jan-93 you had said something about an a kit to fit an external 3.5
HD on the A1200. Do you have some info on this item. If you have said
anymore about this I have missed it. Thanks, Craig <-
Just got the little "pain in the butt to get" connectors I need. I will
test it tonight or tomorrow….I still am without an external encloser. The
one I planned to use are now discontinued….so if the extended cable works
I would say it will be about 2 – 3 weeks till I can find another case and
get all the details nailed down.
I will announce on CI$ if this product is a go.

Perhaps you should get my adapter/ mounting bracket after all, as with it
you could mount the drive inside one of the many small cases designed for
3.5" drives.

I recently bought a WD 2.5" 60 meg IDE drive and it came with a bracket so
it can be mounted in a 3.5" drive bay, complete with a small PC Board that
plugs into the small connector on the back of the drive and brings it out
to a larger connector, and power connector.

I'm working on an external adapter for 3.5" drive on the A1200….so I
would have needed the opposite of that (2mm to .01")
