#Support for Sony CDU535i

I have a Sony CDU-535i CD-ROM drive. Where can I get support in terms of
updated drivers for this Sony Drive? Someone posted a BBS Number for Sony, but
the number does not answer. Sony does not appear to offer support on
CompuServe. I will certainly think twice before buying another Sony computer
product again if I can't find support, although the product itself is OK.

I wish you luck Jim. I am horribly disappointed in Sony–I too have bought a
Sony 535i. It's alomost impossible to get a response from them. I you do get
one, it's likely to take the form "We'll get back to you". They never do. Nor
do they seem to feel any responsablity for their products. I hope you do
better than I.

The BBS number for Sony is 408-955-5107. They have a single line, so it is
frequently busy, but keep trying. Also, they've just moved into a new facility
in San Jose and the phone system has a lot of problems. When you finally get
connected, you'll find the latest DOS drivers for all of the Sony CD-ROM
drives. Good luck.
