#Name of my Dream Drive?

Can someone recommend drive makes/models with the folloing characteristics:
– SCSI-2 Support
– Kodak Multi-Session Compatability
– Double Speed
– Costs less than National Debt
Thanks,
…<Bob>
Well, I'm sure there are other units around, but I just purchased a NEC
CDR-84JD-1 with Pro Audio Studio card and some bundled software.
This is SCSI II, Multimedia II, Double speed, Multisession photo CD.
Price was $919. I have a feeling there are probably better deals out there
too. This was purchased from Computability in Milwaukee and have had good
dealings with in the past.
Now, if someone could only clue me in on why NEC thought they had to add that
second outer trapdoor over the disk slot. The hinge attach points are
interfering with it going through the front panel on my Epson Equity 486DX2 50
Plus. I have tried shaving down part of the side part but still have clearance
problems (see a previous message from me on this subject also). I don't want
to butcher the computer front panel. It looks to me like I will still need to
remove 1/8" on each side to get this to fit. I sure would appreciate it if
anyone could tell me if I'm overlooking something obvious, as I'm not terribly
good at mechanical things.
Good luck on your drive hunting, Bob.
I'll appreciate any suggestions on my problem.

Dust protection. Toshiba, and I think Sony has done this also. It doesn't
apply as much for single units on a single machine, but network drives running
unattended needed it.
