yes. It was put there several times by various CDroms and updated with the June
Nautilis version. steve
I was wondering if you had the full, retail verson of Toolbook somewhere on
your machine, rather than simply multiple versions of the runtime. Having a
toolbook directory on your path can cause problems, because TB can get confused
about what goes with what — changes to the .ini files can also muck things up.
I asked mostly so the folks at Nautilus would have more complete information
about your situation — I've seen problems like this before, unfortunately.

No, bught I may have multiple copies of toolbook files. I'll use pctools to
locate them all and delete them. What is really odd is that I have no problmes
with other CD's. I only have 2 Nautilus disks, May and June. the May issue does
not give me the fatal error, but it comes up with the message that the file is
read only and stays in an enless loop with this message everytime I click it,
forcing me to reoot completely. The june issue alows me to bypass several of
the same messgae and then gives me the fatal error. Appreciate your interest
and help.

problems until the June disk.
I have a Stealth VRAM. When using the Stealth drivers I get a fatal error. This
error occurs nowhere else. When I switch to the regular old VGA drivers, I do
not get an error.
Diamond says they "are aware of the error." Someone I don't get a warm, fuzzy
feeling that there is going to be a solution coming anytime soon.

Unfortunately, Diamond has not done a great job on its video card drivers for
quite a while now; you are not the first to register the problem with the
Stealth drivers.

I took out my Diamond 24x board and replaced it with my 4 yr old ATI Wonder-
still have same problem. steve

I have been on vacation and must have missed the specifics on the fatal
error you now get with the Stealth video drivers. I have the same card and am
using version 2.0 of the drivers in 1024x768x256. I do have some problems with
all the new stuff in the June issue but I can run it without fatal errors and
nothing that I do have a problem with points to the stealth drivers.
So if you don't mind, what specific driver do you use with the Stealth and
exactly what happens to you? Like you I have been getting Nautilus for several
months.

You are correct in the above IMO. They have not released new drivers for
the Stealth since late last September (I did read about some beta ones a while
ago but don't know if these were ever released and no longer care). Shortly
after the release of these drivers, which were the first useable ones for
Windows 3.1, Print Shop Deluxe for Windows was released and the drivers were
broken again. Broderbund finally released a patch to their program even though
the problem is definitely video driver related.
Anyway the reason I no longer care is that I am anxiously awaiting the ISA
version of the Hercules Graphite Pro to ship. I hope to be rid of the Stealth
for once and for all in a few weeks or less and have no intention of going
anywhere near Diamond anytime soon.
