#FATAL ERROR

Just a follow up to my previous msgs- In trying to solve the problem, took out
Dblspace, changed video boards and reinstalled all Sblaster 16 & CDROM cards.
Using PCTools changed or verified all DOS Nautilus files were A and not
ReadOnly. Still have the same problem. All other CD Rom disks work fine, full
vidieo etc. thanks steve
Hi there! Thanks for your message on CompuServe. You said in one of your
messages to Ron Wodaski that you had a full copy of ToolBook. It sounds as if
you are having ToolBook conflict errors. First you need to make sure all
versions of Toolbook have the same date and time stamp (see the TBKMM.DLL
file). If your full copy of ToolBook has a newer date and time stamp for the
TBKMM.DLL file, copy it to your Nautilus directory on the hard drive and delete
the old TBKMM.DLL file from the Nautilus directory on the hard drive. Then,
you can create a directory and put all common .DLL and TBOOK.EXE in the
directory. Typically, you are looking for: any TBK.DLL, TBOOK.EXE, and
TBOOK.NET. After you have them in the directory, put the directory in your
PATH. Most well behaved ToolBook applications work good this way. Let me know
if this solves your problem. Thanks for your continued support.

Karin,
I don't have a full copy of toolbook, but I do have more than one application
that is a toolbook application. I put the toolbook files common to Nautilus and
the other applications in a single directory. Every time Nautilus issues new
software, they copy all the toolbook files to the Nautilus directory and modify
my WIN.INI association to point the the Nautilus directory instead of my common
toolbook directory. I do not have the toolbook directory in my path and don't
see why it should have to be there. Everything works fine without it in my path
— except the Nautilus installs, of course.
Can you fix this the next time you put out a new version of the Nautilus
software?
D.
I will pass your suggestion regarding multiple copies of onto our development
staff. If you have other problems, please let me know. Thanks for your support
of Nautilus.
