I am certain that right after I installed the new Media Player in the June
issue (the one that allows Quicktime Movies) that my media player will no
longer play .fli files. I get an error message saying "General Protection
Fault Error caused by MMPLAYER in AAVGA.DLL". I am quite certain that the
problem coincided with the installation of the new MM player.
Anyone else having this problem?

I installed the June issue of Nautilus last night. After reading your
message
regarding problems playing .FLI files on MMPLAYER, I tried a few of my .FLI
files
and they ran fine. I doubt the problem is with the Nautilus install alone, but
could
be a combination of things. Could your AAVGA.DLL become corrupt. I would try
replacing it to see what happens.

Morey, Please advise what kind of video card and sound card you have and the
date and time stamp of the drivers. Also, please advise the CPU and clock
speed of your computer, the amount of RAM, and what kind of CD ROM. General
Protection faults usually indicate an incompatibility between the video card
drivers and the application. Have you updated your video card drivers lately?
The June disc is very demanding on the video card drivers. Please let me know
your setup and I'll try to advise. Looking forward to your reply.
