We are running a Netware 3.11 network, with Macintosh and NFS volume support. Currently, our CD-ROM capability comprises a single CD-ROM drive on each platform, Sun, Macintosh and PC. Looking at the specifications of CD-Net, Optinet and SCSI Express NLMs, they all allow mounting of CD-ROMs as a DOS volume. Does anyone provide an NLM which also allows non-dos name-space volumes, and which will let us read Mac or Unix specific CD-ROMs on a centralised server with multiple drives? Thanks, Paul

SCSI Express does provide support for name spaces. It also supports HFS discs and ISO 9660 discs with the Rock Ridge extensions. It doesn't support native UNIX discs. David Dillard Micro Design International, Inc.

Thanks for the info, I'll get back to the UK distributors, CD-ROM Systems, to take a closer look. Paul
