Hi, I'll bet I can get a little help here. I just got my 3401 internal drive and will be installing it in my computer this weekend. I have a 1742A and Ez-SCSI 1.0, but the 3401 isn't listed on the supported devices list. Supposedly Ez-SCSI 2.01 supports Photo-CD, but it's not available yet. I have CorelSCSI 1.2 which I understand supports the 3401. I guess that means use Corel! Please comment, anyway. <g> I have questions about jumpers on the CD-ROM drive that wern't made too clear in the extensive instructions that came with it. I've got a hard drive at ID 0, so I guess the ID for the CD-ROM would be 2? Enable parity? Allow eject? Somewhere the doc mentioned I might want to disable synchronous initiation in the hose adapter, but I can't find it now. What's the consensus on that? How about the rotational speed variable? Would that be controlled by CorelSCSI? Well, TIA! It's nice to be new. If it wasn't this it would be something else. Dave McKeen

Corel SCSI 1.2 should work okay with the 1742A and Toshiba 3401. rp93
