#Wordprocessing

I am looking for a good wordprocessor for the Amiga A600 (1MB) it must bo
fairly good and also quite cheap.
Any suggestions CHeers ROd McCall (a rather poor student)
Rod,
A "good" wordprocessor isn't cheap, and a cheap wordprocessor isn't
"good". However, the two best for the Amiga would be FinalCopy II Release 2 and
Prowrite. Of the two, my preference is FinalCopy but a slight edge, but both
are good. Prices are in the $100 range from mailorder houses, I believe.
Rod,
Our company makes ProWrite for the Amiga, which has quite a few features, and
has a retail price of $99.95 (and mail order prices are usually much lower).
However, if price is a real consideration, we also make QuickWrite (retails for
$50.00) which is a very fast basic word processor. It doesn't have all the
frills of ProWrite (no support for putting pictures in documents, no multiple
fonts, etc.), but does have all the basic word processing features, and is very
fast.
If you have any questions about these products, drop by our vendor support
section on CompuServe (section 5 in the AMIGAVENDOR forum).

Of course, "putting pictures in documents" and "multiple fonts" are really
DTP features more than word processing features.
I'm still looking for something other than WordPerfect on the Amiga with
what I consider basic word processing features like footnotes, endnotes,
table of contents, index, and automatic paragraph numbering.
