>> Eight months is unfortunately not unusual >> in this business. You're right. And that's unfortunate. What's more unfortunate is when they spend the eight months telling you that the product will be shipping in "about another three weeks." I, like you, hope it comes out soon and is a knockout. Schneider is a good programmer. I just wish he'd find someone competent to run his business for him. Pete

Adam- I'm curious- did you try the files I uploaded to your BBS? Being a software developer, I realize that sometimes the files used for testing don't always vary as much as they might. Your files may not "push the envelope" in the same way mine do, I don't know. Given the solution of *some* problems by reinstalling (and no, I haven't attempted to step through reconfiguration s-l-o-w-l-y yet…), I'll try the SMerFf conversion again and see if that also has mysteriously "fixed" itself. However, since it broke for me from day one, I doubt it's in the same ballpark as the problems which "went away" mysteriously. Bob

Hey, Bob! Sorry I haven't been more available lately. I have been out of town for the last two weeks doing PC Expo and some vacation time. Which files did you upload? Did you send them to Mark? -Adam

Yeah, I sent some files to Mark several months back. I've been pretty busy too, what with haying, work, and other extracurriculars. Haven't taken the experiments any further to "re-break" B&P. (Believe me, when I do, it will be under *very* controlled circumstances!) Good to see you back "around." Bob
