ATTENTION ALL SIGGRAPH ATTENDEES AND CA 3DS USERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Any and everyone who might be interested in a get-together Sunday nite leave a
message to Greg Pyros 73027,3632 and we'll try to set up something. I think
John Foust of Syndesis has volunteered to rent out Disneyland for us <BG, d &
r>!!
Also, anyone wanting to help Greg set up his booth, can show up Monday at
Anaheim Convention Center with work gloves, screwdrivers and the $20 "work
fee". Beer will be provided. <g><g><g> NOT.

Greg is laying low, he hasn't answered my query… Hey Greg this wasn't meant
to put you on the spot! Well sort of, but not really. I realise you've got alot
of things to get together for the show and coordinating something like this
might boarder on outrageous, but seeing as L.A. is your stomping ground and
you're well known by most if not all… seemed like a good idea. Actually
someone who knows the area who can suggest a place to meet at a certain time
near the convention center would be ideal, get a bunch of animators together,
you've got a party! -JE

Sure I did! Party's on, Sunday night, place to be determined by number of
responses! Somewhere within a 15 minute's drive of the Convention Center, I
promise!
Doug Wolfgram, are you back from vacation yet? Steve Ormonde? Martin
Foster? Let's show these 'foreigners' how we throw a party here in southern
California!
Greg Pyros
Greg,
I am back <said in a REALLY good Arnold accent>!
Although I keep going off up to West L.A. every weekday. Sunday sounds great to
me for the initial, non-official, Siggraph, warm-up, party.
Martin,
W.L.A., huh? Playign with Mr. 105 degrees (r.s.)?
Kevin Krell – Computer Support Associates
Kevin,
no, actually, I'm doing some work for a completely different company. Although,
I still keep in fairly close contact with Richard and Alberto.
Martin,
I will come to the warm up 3DSPatry (2 persons including me).
Greetings from Germany
Ingo
Ingo,
I look forward to it!
Hey, whats this warmup party about? If you let me in I'll bring you a bone
fragment and a live mesquitoe.
-MM
Mike,
<live mesquito>
Are those the ones that hang around California barbecues? SMoke 'em if you got
'em.

Mike:
We are having a CIS/ASOFT party on the Sunday before Siggraph at the
Marriott from 7:30->???.
Be there!
Greg Pyros
Greg,
I will come to the warm up 3DSPatry on Sunday the first August (2 persons
including me). Please mail my the adress where it will be.
Greetings from the other side of the earth.
Ingo
Yes, indeed. Syndesis has rented the "It's a Small World" ride for Sunday
evening. We all get to ride around in little boats, and they're never, ever
going to turn off the music.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
Greg
John:
Did you pay for the shotgun option, where each of us is issued a 12 gauge pump
and 20 rounds when we get on the boat?
Evan
You mean to target-practice the incredibly perky uniformly shaped but
internationally attired dolls? Yes.
I want to try and nail the sound system. That song — "It's a third world
afterall" just makes me insane.
Evan
Hey! Now I want in on this! Forget the shot gun, lets get Uzzies! I just had to
suffer that ride about a month ago, arrgh!
-MM
Mike,
here's the scoop from GregP and Alan Iglesias:
What: CIS/ASOFT Get-Together — Bring your friends and loved ones!<g>
When: Sunday night, August 1st, from around 7:30-8:00 PM to ??
Where: Gambit's, Main Lobby Level, Anaheim Marriot — 700 Convention Way,
Anaheim, CA 92802 714.750.8000
Be there or be polygonal!
Martin
PS: no gun humour please, I have strong beliefs regarding that <g>.
At about the same time in the Disneyland Hotel, is the exhibitor party for the
entire show… but I think those parties tend to be less than exciting.
John,
I went to that gig (Disneyland Hotel exhibitor party) at NCGA '92 and it was
OK, and there were a few novelties like a gyro-ride contraption and a velcro
wall. After the novelty had worn off it was fairly dull, so I left quite early.
The nightclub shindig/Asoft party should be more fun, IMHO.
Martin:
Both Cohn and I did the gyro ride and the velcro wall at NCGA. I'm fat enough
that I didn't stick on the velcro wall.
Evan
Evan,
I remember it well, I saw you both frolicking at the velco wall attraction. I
believe you helped throw David Cohn against the wall – quite amusing <g>.
I remember David Cohn doing a flip and landing upside-down on the wall!
What a sight!
Greg
Darn! I was going to reply with
"AAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH", but I see Greg has beaten me
to it! (How 'bout "It's a 3D-World"?)
