Could it be that the "Show Segment numbers" option in the TPM project window
dosn't work or is it me? I donb't see any difference when the box is checked
or un-checked. The segment number is displayed in the project window either
way.

"Show segment numbers" will show you the segment number next to the NAME of the
segment, in brackets. If you didn't name the segment, then it will still have
the default name "Segment xx" and TPM won't add the (redundant) segment number
in brackets.
Double-click on a segment name, name it, and then you'll see your name, and the
segment number in brackets.

Ahem…koff koff…. I remember reading the manual and it said you can name
segments and change attributes (p 154 wonderful!) but I forgot all about it
(the manual examples all show the default segment names).
