As an owner of 3DS, customer of Autodesk and professional software developer,
I would rather see releases LATER than BUGGY. I also, sympathize with
developers who have to work in a panic to fill promises of premature delivery.

I, too, own 3DS though it certainly doesn't keep me from wanting to hear about
goodies in an upcoming release. In the past, I've taken the position here that
Autodesk should give details in advance. After seeing the absolute fiasco with
Polaris and the damage they've inflicted on themselves, I'm now content to be
more patient with Autodesk, knowing that even if I don't get pre-announcement
info, at least I'll get a thoroughly-tested, reliable product.
