Roger:
There are graphics embedded in the AutoCAD help file, and the ones that ship
with the Microsoft products also. It really is a slick concept. As I said, I
don't knoe HOW help files are created, but they seem awful compact for the
amount of material they contain.
It would seem the whole section in the AutoCAD Customization manual (Chapter 2)
is now incorrect, as the AutoCAD for Windows Help file doesn't follow the
described format. It is NOT an ASCII file anymore <sigh>.
Overall, the comments on my PPT session were good (ouch!! strained my arm
patting myself on the back!!<g>), but one common comment on the evals was that
it was too long. Maybe 3 days would have been enough? Not to cover the material
provided, but that doesn't mean the supplied materials couldn't be a little
shorter.
