Pat,
We're nearing the end of the semester, and are heavily involved in
preparing the final touches for the winter semester.
We are in the process of updating our 'required and recommended' book
list. One of the things we need is a replacement for:
"AutoCAD 3D design and Presentation" by Jeff Hester
Although it is a good book, it has outgrown our new course. We are adding
a touch of Animator Pro and 3D Studio, and we will need a book that touches
on these topics, or at least offers an introduction. AutoShade is passe.
Do you or anyone else know of any book covering this? The ideal book I'm
looking for (but doubt I'll find) is one that starts with 3D in
AutoCAD (surfaces, AME…), then continues with Ani and 3DS…
The course is 3D design and presentation, and ends with a walkthrough or
animation of an Architectural structure.
