#Card Edge Connectors

Does anyone know of a source of 36 pin PC mount card edge connectors ( 2
rows of 18 pins ) to convert the A2000 XT slots to AT slots? I have no
local Amiga dealer and have been unable to locate these things anywhere –
any help would be greatly appreciated!

Buy a 286 motherboard without CPU or memory. Should be less than $50.
Even cheaper used (i.e., from someone who upgraded to a 386 motherboard
but kept old case, drives, powersupply, etc).

Try Digi-Key 1-800-344-4539 they carry edgeboard connectors of the 36
pin type. The part #s are:
EDC341362-ND Soldertail .140 Spacing between rows of pins $3.07
EDC395362-ND As above but .200 spacing 2.60

I just completed this same mod last Sunday. Other than the time required to
get at the motherboard it was a cinch and works great.

Sounds good, I recently socketed the 1488/89 RS232 driver chips so
these will probably not be much more difficult that that to install.
