Just had my IDE hard drive die. Have you replaced the 120MB drive in your A4000 with a larger IDE drive? Have you been thinking about doing so? If so, I want it, and I'd be willing to trade my A2024 monitor for it. (Both a new A2024 and a new Seagate ST3144A are selling for about the same price ($199 and $189, respectively.) The A2024 is a 14" grey-scale monitor that supports 1024×800 and 1024×1024 resolutions. It works best under AmigaDOS 2.1 and 3.0, although it's quite functional under 2.04 as well. (Although it includes a patched kickstart for 1.3 users, I can't really recommend it for those folks.) This particular monitor was purchased a few months ago at the World of Amiga show in New York, played around with for a few hours, and then put back in its box waiting for me to get around to buying a bigger desk to hold two monitors.) Anyway, I'll sell the monitor for $150, or I'd be happy to swap it even for a 120MB or higher 3.5" IDE drive. (SCSI's okay too. 🙂 Send email if you're interested. (PS: I've been scarce around here because I can't run AP until I get a new drive on the A4000; yep, I do have a backup, but I can't restore it to my A1200 because my A4000 backups are on high-density disks. Sheesh.)
