I wanted to avoid using a special technique for animation files. I use an MCI control to playback sound, live video, and animations. Now I can't use the MCI control for animations and this complicates the software. Do you know if Autodesk is planning on changins this? I would be glad to serve as guinea pig for a version that played in a Window. That change would help me an awful lot! If Digital Video for Windows supports this, there is no reason why the animation driver can't. Thanks for your help Phil. Steve…

I almost always convert my .fli/.flc files to .avi for playback so that I have greater control over the appearance and position. Ron

Given time, of course, everthing changes. But… at this time, there are no announced plans for updating the MCI driver.
