#double-sided needles

greg, thanks for acknowledging the "needles-in-haystacks" message. i realize i
could render two-sided but i neglected to mention that this particular model is
of the new charlotte nfl stadium and contains 89,687 faces and renders quite
slowly as you can imagine. if this were not a proprietary project i would enjoy

…obviously one does not hit the up arrow while composing a message. since i
am new to the forum (although not new to computer animation being a grizzled
veteran of eleven years having worked on a dubner cbg-2, cubicomp, 5 years on
alias, vertigo, and 12 different paint systems) i am still in the process of
learning about protocol in dealing with autodesk. is it reasonable to assume
that if i have either questions, wishes, suggestions, or whatever that i leave
them as a message to you or what?/

Contrary to popular belief, I don't work for Autodesk (although being a
dealer for them makes it seem so, I guess!).
But I enjoy, as do many others here in ASOFT, helping others get the most
out of 3D Studio and pushing the limits of the program.
Feel free to ask any questions you want, give us your best shot!

I just connected the name; I heard about you from some of the folks I talk with
at Autodesk. I write books about various topics, including 3D modeling. I'd
be interested to talk with you about some material for a second edition of one
of my books, Multimedia madness. Interested?
