Volker Ackerman has suggested that I contact you by way of this
forum in order to express my interest in assisting you develop and
coordinate the Autodesk training curriculum.
I am a graduate of the Ackerman Comprehensive AutoCAD school and
successfully accomplished with Animator Pro and 3D-Studio. I have also
paid my dues for a year at a local service bureau plotting every imaginable
kind of AutoCAD, etc., drawing.
My professional education and background is that of a creative
thinker and visualist. I received my Masters in Fine Arts from the San
Francisco Art Institute in 1987.
The problems of developing integrated curriculum for Computer
Graphics education are of cultural concern because of the convergence of
different traditional disciplines and the technological evolution of
software and hardware. These problems and challenges interest me in a keen
way.

I would enjoy the opportunity to share our past experiences, visions and
plans for the future and an exploration of how we might be able to
collaborate on mutually beneficial projects in 1993. Let me know if you
would like to do so by ach.
My recommendation: if you need autotrace, use Pixel. If you need
conversions between formats, use InterChange.

I have the most recent release of Pixel 3D Pro. Even simple things
scrog the RAM disk or crash the machine. It still generates Enforcer
and Mungwall hits. As far as I know, Pixel 3D Pro was sent to
distributors, then they recalled it b discs. That is, if you pay to make 25 one-offs, you might
as well get 500 mass-produced CDs.
(3) How to write the spec — any way you can get the message across <G>.
A good first step might be to decide which way you want to do it —
in-house one-offs, in-house one-offs plus mass replication, out-sourced
one-offs, or out-sourced one-offs plus mass replication. Decide what kind
of format you want (if audio, go for Sony right now), and find the
equipment and software that can handle it. I can help there ((I'll bet
several people were just waiting for the commercial — I'm not' gonna do
