Hello Frank. I was wondering what software you are using to get output with the
Primera? Also, what resolution do you render to for dye-sub output on the
Primera?
I have been using CorelDraw's PhotoPaint but haven't had the time to fine- tune
anything yet, just a couple of stills from an animation, and they were less
than great. The use here is to show a client a still from an animation done in
video resolution. Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank
you, Carl

Carl,
I have been using ImagePals software from U-Lead, (310) 523-9393, which has an
album feature that collects images and preps them for the printing. I use the
default resolution from the newest FARGO driver; it's 203 dpi, I think…
I am not at all familiar with the software you are using, sorry.
Would you describe what the low quality dye-sub image looks like? Does it look
like a half-tone image (lots of unconnected dots… like a newspaper image) by
any chance?
Your printer should yield excellent prints, let's get to the bottom of this!!
