I work for a manufacturer that has been using Amiga 600s and 1200s as part of an integrated system. Due to the situation with Commodore the supply has completely dried up–this is an important component for us and we can't shift up to the 2000 or 4000 because of price. The CD32 won't work for us because it doesn't have a serial port or disc drive, both of which we need. Does anyone have any suggestions. We've heard rumors that there are clones out there. Can anyone steer me towards where I might find this.

just a quick reply 'cos I'm still on-line- As far as I know/have read the clones you refer to are a FUTURE issue which may or may not happen – Something to do with Samsung selling of the rights to people if/when the merger/takeover ever happens. I don't think you can get hold of A1200 clones now – If you can please let me know as well !!! Thanks – Andy

Er, there's that name again, Samsung (Korean company),. Have you heard of anything more on the "aquisition" of C=? Or are you going off the same RUMINT "Rumour Intelligence" that's beeing floating around? Nasty RUMINT : Hope it's not Samsung I heard that they are more interested in the technology than the platform. If they do aquire C= I sincerly hope this rumour is wrong. Boy if OJ is at the hight of press attentions with information and rumours abounding then C= "aquisition" is a great stark contrast to this. What we now is John Cleese (Monty Python) "Wakey Wakey Polly," tell us what's going on (with C=)….. Shawn Silent Paw Productions
