PMJI – but it is just breathtaking, and rather humbling. May all my computers be simultaneously struck by lightening if I EVER say, imply or hint again that 3DS doesn't "do organic" very well – "herbie" makes it abundantly clear to even a total dullard, that USER SKILL is the issue. You have really set a standard here – I'm going to take a copy to our next user group meeting, if you don't mind – this is much better than anything on any of the demo reels! I bet 9/10 people looking at it would think it's video of a real goldfish. It's not just the flawless colors and texture – the movement is perfect(!). Are you an ithycologist as well as a stellar animator? Just amazing. Thanks so much for sharing this beautiful work. Gayle G de N, SAVANTES

Thanks for the kind words Gayle, It's just a shame that Herbie has been built for a real paying job and will only ever be as big as a thumbnail on screen and only move left to right in a static scene. I just could'nt let him go to waste so I thought I'd upload him. By all means take herbie along to your user meeting but don't forget to change his water regularly, and tell people not to tap on the monitor! <g> Glenn. 4Di.

Glenn: Herbie is way cool! A blink of his eye near the beginning pass would be a kick. Bob
