Hi. I'm hoping there are some Toaster gurus present… I have a few questions: 1) Is there a keyboard shortcut to turn the GPI trigger on and off? 2)Is there a list of how to access the special symbols with the various fonts, i.e: how do I get the "copyright" symbol? 3)Is it possible to do a global color change to all the lines of type on a particular page in CG? Thank you in advance, oh wise NewTek wizards…(bowing backwards out of sight). John

John, Don't know the answer to your first question because I don't use them. The copyright symbol is available by holding down alt and striking "e" in most Toaster fonts. The registered symbol (R) is alt-r. Those are lower case letters. To select all lines of text, double click on the first letter of the first line of text, and the whole page should be chosen. Then go in and change the color. This applies to Toaster 3.0 and on. Glenn

John, About the copyright….hold down your alt key and press various characters and see what you come up with…you would think it would be alt + c because rights reserved is alt + r. I'm not sure if it differs with each font and haven't needed the copyright as of yet.<G> jmb

John, Correction: to select all of the lines on a CG page, hold down the Shift key and double click on the first letter of the first line. Glenn

The characters you will get with each font vary a bit, but in general they should map to the same characters as the standard amiga Topaz font you're probably reading this in. It may be an amiga manual somehwere, or you can try the Keycaps utility to get a view of what characters come up with the various alt-keys, and the 'dead-keys' alt-f,g,h,j which put an accent over the next letter you type (if pvssible).

I am trying to learn my way around an Amiga (I use a 2000 with Workbench 2.05 and a Toaster 2.0 at work, plus I have a 1000 here at home that I borrowed to learn on.). After using DOS machines, I have to admit, I'm finding it all a bit baffling. Thanks for the info on the special characters. John
