Hi John, A:M is doing just fine, but unfortunately I don't have a big character animation project, so I have been concentrating on 3DS. Another big problem I had was my primary disk drive was slowly failing and my data was becoming corrupted. Fortunately I got my hard drive changed out this weekend. Now I am reinstalling all my Windoze software—Pain! Later dude Bryce W. CF/X Image, Inc.

YES! I really hate it when I install a program for Windows and the installation routine copies an older version of a support file on top of a newer version that I have already installed! (this happens all the time with programs written in VB) On my MAC I have an extention that warns me if that is about to happen (it is part of my virus protection software). It lists the dates and file sizes of the two files, and lets me choose which version to install, or if I want to rename either of those files on the hard disk. Does anyone know if something similar exists for the Windows environment? -brian

So many people ask me these questions about how to get the FLC files or TGA files onto the MAC and then convert them to QUICKTIME, output into PStyler, etc…… …and I was the only one brave enough in MM product support to have one on my desk… …and it's only little one <g>…. -b P.S. It was part of my SAM virus scan… I think..Oh, I don't know, I hardly ever turn the thing on. (There, that should get people liking me again.<g>)

I'm not sure of anything like that. I do know of a program called uninstaller that logs all the stuff programs do when installing. It's a shame to have to buy a program to uninstall stuff though. Kinda foolish, but unfortunately it's useful. JNJ ps- Mac?? yech!! <BG> I would love a powerpc for bitmap work..
