Of course we'll adopt you! My daughter would love a playmate. All she
currently has is her 1 year old little brother, and she's ready for a
new influx of artistic talent. 🙂 Her aunt is actually over on your
old continent hopping around, (just sent me a great rug from
Istanbul!), now she's headed to Greece. But…… until she gets
back there's always an empty room in the house. Did I mention that
her name is Anna with a ~ ? It's pronounced Anya. She's one of my top
artists but the beauty of Europe has temporarily taken her away from
us.
sorry to be a bore, Paul, but I believe Istanbul is in Asia, not
Europe. Once widly known as Asia Minor. Greece is in Europe though.
You're absolutely right. Anna Started in England and has been randomly
jumping from country to country having lots of fun. She spent
Christmas in Istanbul, but has spent most of her time thus far in
Europe, other than a couple of weeks in Scandanavia visiting the
relatives. I'm sorry I didn't make myself clearer.
No, Martin. They moved Istanbul to the Disney theme park in France.
David,
last time I was in Istanbul it looked far too big to put in any theme park.
Unless Disney Europe is huge <g>.
Hi!
PMJI but the most of the European (I`m one of them) counts Instanbul to Europe.
And the Paris Disney is big, but the Disney in Anaheim is bigger with a much
better weather than we`ve here in Europe 🙂
BTW: Here we say the same about USA that you say about Europe. The USA is very
nice, too. And not so small…
Michael
Michael,
I'm European also. I was born and spent my first 22 years in England. I now
live in Southern California, although I'm probably going to move to Australia
later this year or next, unless I get shot before then.
I'm sorry to disagree, but all my reference books say that Turkey is in Asia
Minor. Minor point <g>, but these things need to be set straight. I spent 3
weeks in Turkey in 1983, on my way to Syria and Lebanon. Student fun, you know.
I was travelling mostly with krazy Germans (good friends).
Ok, maybe in real reality Turkey belongs to Asia. But in the virtual
reality of the european thoughts they belong to Europe 🙂 The german
think that the american people are crazy. Nice to hear that they`re
(and the "english" american, too) thinking the same 🙂 BTW: the most
german are professionell beer drinkers. You can have great partys
with us…
yes, I had some great times in Germany, and Turkey too. Most of my
friends were in the Karlsruhe area.
I don`t know why, but the most americans who where in Germany were in the
southern Germany. And I think the most of them believe that Germany is only
Bavaria.
Is really funny. What did you do in Germany? Our animation market is really
small. I think you can`t learn a lot here.
BTW: The south of Germany has more forest and looks better than the north. And
the "Apfelstrudel" is better there. I believe that`s the reason why they go to
the south. Or is it because the Army in Heidelberg? Or is the Army in
Heidelberg because of the "Apfelstrudel"?
Michael
<<Or is the Army in Heidelberg because of the "Apfelstrudel"?>>
That could be… 🙂 I miss my Apfelstrudel, Spezi, Brotchen, Gemischtes eis,
and Jagerschnitzel mit Spatzle. Mmmm! Schmeckt gut!

Give me your adress and I send you some Jaegerschnitzel, Apfelstrudel
and a bottle of beer 🙂
I liked the beir in Bavaria better too. It gets my vote!
our high school in England had a lot of school exchanges with a high
school in Karlsruhe, Germany. I was one of the students who took
part. I took part in 2 exchanges with the same boy each time. We were
good friends and continued our friendship through University,
visiting each other several times. Our biggest trip was a 2.5 month
driving trip from Karlsruhe to northern Lebanon, stopping in Greece
for a few weeks, Turkey 3 weeks, Syria 1 week, and Lebanon for 10
minutes. What a time we had! I graduated from University in 1985 and
ran away to America. I think my friend is still in University after
10 years, and I think he always will be – he keeps saying he has one
more class to pass to get his degree <g>.
I preferred the south of Germany because I love mountains, and Bavaria
is beautiful. I'm not sure why the US army is in the south, probably
because the British army kicked their butts down there <g,d &r>.
I`d like to study in the States, too. I was told that the American
Students have a best parties of the world. We`ve nice parties too,
but not so hot than I`ve seen in TV-movies about american student
parties:-)
I understand the german students who study a lot of years. It`s really
cheap to be a student and you get money from the goverment. And you
meet a lot of girls, what I think it`s the most important reason to
be a student.
<<Most of my friends were in the Karlsruhe area.>>
I was born in Nurenburg, and lived just outside of Heidelberg for 3 years,
while in Heidelberg. Our football team killed Karlsruhe back then… 🙂 Are
they in the military?
JNJ
no my friends were all regular, wild Germany guys. I had no contacts
with the military when I was there. I was just a visiting English
schoolboy and later, a college student.
Aaah, fun. I had some German friends there, but they spoke english.
I am still struggling with the language.. I'm on my last semester
here at college. <yeah!> 🙂
Yes, I hear the name and I like it. Ah, the beauty of Europe1 <g> I will be the
15 in FL. and I will miss this old piece of land 🙁 Geneva, Montecarlo,
Madrid… ah! (hehe, I can see all your faces now 😉
Greece, uhn? Niiiiice country. Great people, great art, great food (not as good
as spanish' :), great sun, great everything! Unfortunately near is the shame of
this continent. There is a lot of art and, worst of all, people being destroyed
there. Humans! I will better ask Darth Vader about that adoption! 🙂 Just a
joke in the middle of all this chaos.
But regarding your family… uh…may I have my own Indigo connected to your
daughter's one <g>

I don't know, I disagree on the food part! <g> But then with a cook like
Grandma Pyros, I suppose any nationality would taste pretty good! <g>
Greg Pyros
I would love to start a discussion about the richness of food in
Greece vs. Spain vs. your Grandma vs. my Grandma vs. my mom vs.
myself vs. Martin Foster's fish and chips BUT until I recieve your
ZIP file about the PAR I wouldn't say a word about it <g> Hey, you
will loose all the sexual interpretations about Martin's fish and
chips! <G>
