Does anybody know if the MFC has been implemented on any UNIX systems? I thought that I had seen this awhile ago but am not sure. Any advise on porting an app from Visual C++ to UNIX/MOTIF (other than forget it)? Thanks in advance for any help!

George, I do recall seeing two different systems advertised. One of them went so far as to create a library emulating the Win 3.1 SDK calls as well. Sorry, but I do not remember their name though. Larry

<< Does anybody know if the MFC has been implemented on any UNIX systems? >> I have seen ads for this in Dr. Dobb's Journal. I do not no anything about them beyond the advertising copy I see before me — Caveat Emptor! You'd probaby should track down a DDJ. The two that I can find offhand (in the July 1994 issue) are: – MainWin, MAINSoft (1-800-MAINWIN) 883 N. Shoreline Blvd. Suite C-100 Mountain View, CA 94043 – WIND/U, Bristol Technology Inc., (203) 438-6969 (info@bristol.com) This is in no way an endorsement or recommendation – just the info. from the ads. Best of luck!
