I think you're going to have trouble killing the OCX label, it just too darn
convenient a way to refer to, well, OCXs. "OLE controls" is less efficient, (to
my mind) ungainly and arguably more ambiguous.
Just what's wrong with "OCX" anyway?

Yeah, and besides, don't these Microsofties know that EVERYTHING in the
computer industry has to have a 3 letter abbreviation??! I mean, we got MFC,
MDI, VBX, TCP, PCX, GIF, MCI, WFW, etc etc etc… "OLE Control"? I don't think
so.

They don't mind not explaining it as applied to AFX, why should it bother them
when applied to OCX? (If this is really a problem for them they need to apply
some imagination and make up a believeable meaning for it<g>.) -steve
