#wireframe

I have created a 3ds mesh of a tent (a flat based triangular prism) and I need
to first see it as wireframe and then as wireframe with solid sides. I am
having a problem that if the two shapes occupy the same 3d space you get the
wireframe lines disappearing on certain sides. The 3d tent needs to rotate and
finish as a 2d triangle with an outline around it. This is proving impossible
to get a constant thickness of line around the triangle.
It's a difficult one to put into words so I hope this makes sense.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

It sounds like you need to outline the original tent cross-section in the
shaper, and use the outline for the wireframe sides. There are so many ways to
do what you're describing… Experiment and have fun with it!

Actually, I think I can word it pretty easily.
On the Schrieber demo, they detached a face from a word and used the
face, with a green wireframe, to give greater edge definition. I think
Keyframe's wireframe tent keeps "falling into" his first tent. But maybe not.
I've never made it work.
