To all interested in Painter,
According to FDC, Painter X3 will be released at the end of September.
It seems that Fractal representatives will post a press release in a couple of
days, so stay tunned. The reps say that the program IS, indeed, VERY VERY
IMPRESSIVE. We'll see 🙂

Are we talking PC or Mac versions? Or both? I don't use Macs but I am tired
of waiting for graphics software originally written for the Mac being available
on the Mac sometimes months before the PC versions. Look at KPT 2.0, AI 5.5,
Freehand, etc. Of course Freehand 4 was just released for PC and PhotoShop 3.0
will have simultaneous release for PC/Mac according to Adobe, can't wait. The
Mac video/dtp market may be big, but the PC has more potential to grow.
I have been told by Fractal that both PC & Mac versions will be released
simultaneously.
