John, Hmmmm… With the largest amount of ex-C= engineers under your roof (including HAYNIE!! <bow, bow, we're not worthy!!>) and employing said ex-C= engineers in Scala R&D – methinks that Scala has something up thier sleeve and is not coming clean. 🙂 Is it time to break out the cyber rubber hose?? <bg> Trent One of the "Frozen Chosen"

If you read Scala's press releases, or those of GI/Primestar, you'll see exactly what is up Scala's sleve. Have you seen the Primestar commercials on TV? The ones for an small (18"?) dish to get 500 channels via satalite for about $30/mo.? Dale L. Larson Intangible Assets Manufacturing (info@iam.com) "That's the best part about being crazy. Nope, have not seen any commercials for Scala or Primestar. I take it they have something to do with telecommunications? Not too much call for that up here <g> (tho we could use a telephone company that uses something other than 1950's technology – our phone service up here is terrible). Is Scala behind Primestar? I just started seeing the ads here in Oregon.. "Coming soon to your area….." Alex

Alex, In a way, yes, we are "behind" Primestar in the sense that we are developing the authoring environment for the Interactive Programming Guide (IPG) for Primestar's satellite receivers. Regards, John Chang Technical Support Manager Scala, Inc.

Trent, Really Trent, such terrible thoughts in your mind! I really have no idea what you are talking about. Dang, time to do the laundry. ;-} Seriously, we have not been approached by any party to continue development of the Amiga Technology. We would, of course, be more than happy to consult and/or develop if asked. Regards, John Chang Technical Support Manager Scala, Inc.
