<Place this in the "Fact or Coincidence??" folder…> I happen to be one of the unfortunate individuals that purchased some Commodore stock and actually held onto it… I have noticed that the statements from my broker now list my shares of "Commodore Intl, Ltd" under the symbol "CBUIF" (instead of the previous symbol "CBU"), and list it as "UNPRICED." My impression is that this implies that Commodore intends to continue as an entity, perhaps listed on the NASDAQ under a new symbol. Could anyone tell me if I'm trying to read too much into this? Thanks, – Dave

I have no idea, but if I were to guess I'd say the "IF" means "in foreclosure".

Hi Steve, >> I have no idea, but if I were to guess I'd say the "IF" means "in foreclosure". Thanks for the reply, it sounds the most likely of the posts here. (Unfortunately) – Dave

Hey, if it really is worthless, I want to buy a certificate from you to frame and hang in my office. Course I wouldn't give you what you paid for it <g>. HArryM

Harry, I asked for my certificates, and asked that they be broken up so that I would have more than one (wanted to use a few for gifts), but they refused – sent me a single certificate for all the shares I had bought and said that I would have to go through a broker and pay a brokerage fee to sell some of them to someone else if I wanted that person to have a certificate. However, I *did* get a certificate for my own wall. —Betty

Hi Harry, >> Hey, if it really is worthless, I want to buy a certificate from you >> to frame and hang in my office. Course I wouldn't give you what you paid >> for it. Actually, I'd like to do the same… but all of my shares are held by my Broker, and I think it may be unlikely that I would be able to obtain the actual stock certificates, even if I *really* wanted them. – Dave

David, I called my broker just two or three weeks ago and asked for the certificates, and I have already received IT. They would not break it down and give me more than one, but I did get a single certificate. —Betty

Hi Betty, >> … but I did get a single certificate. I read your earlier post after I had replied… Thank you, I will consider it. – Dave

From what I know after the creditors are paid off there is a method in distributing what is left (if there is anything left).. However down the line the stock hold would be paid off if there is enough money left after the sale of the technology…. Have you asked your Boker what is done with any money left over after the creditors are paid off? My friend was told by his broker that if anything is left after all are paid then the rst goes to the stock holders… Unfortunately I doubt that anything will be left.

Hi Scott, >> Have you asked your Broker what is done with any money left over… Uhmmm… No, Scott I haven't asked my Broker and have no intention of doing that. I bought the stock because I believed the price was about as low as it would go, and because I love the machine and believe in the technology. I really don't care what happens with my money if Commodore goes under… I have diversified my portfolio sufficiently to enable me to make up for my loss, if that is the outcome. Thanks, – Dave

C= Uk & Germany representatives clearly told me these two independant C= entities were willing to continue their business under the name C=, whatever happens to the big C= (unless noone takes over the company of course, but I guess they would try to join forces with powerful distributors etc. in this case). "My impression is that this implies that Commodore intends to continue as an entity, perhaps listed on the NASDAQ under a new symbol." Your Commodore stock is still your asset. Several thousand unlisted stocks trade through NASDAQ. It is not Commodore's choice: it's just the only reasonably organized market now where you can trade Commodore stock, should you choose to attempt to do so. It is absolutely not an indicator of anything, however. Jerry

David, "UNPRICED" is just the term used to indicate that a stock that was previously listed no longer has a listed price on the exchange. As sj said, the 'IF' is likely an indicator of the status of the company. CBU is now a delisted equity.

Well, I got my statement, and it still lists as "Commodore Intl Ltd" and has a price of 7/8. (Where they got that price, I have no idea).

Hi Michael, >> Well, I got my statement, and it still lists as "Commodore Intl Ltd" and >> has a price of 7/8. (Where they got that price, I have no idea). Hmmmm… You don't think that somebody actually went out & bought some for a souvenir certificate, now do ya?? <grin> – Dave
