He who pumps enough money into Xanadu and makes a real product will control the
"information superhighway" that people buzzword about. The vision is
incredible, but the practicality is in question.
I hope it succeeds. John Walker was right when he said that it would change
the world.

Both Xanadu and AMIX are alive and off stuggling on their own. I agree with
you, Ted Nelson's vision is extremely powerful and may someday come to
fruition. If it does, it will indeed change the world. It just didn't pay
back within a reasonable timeframe for Autodesk's corporate vision.
