Alex, As the Supra rep you probably could help me. What is the latest rom for the SupraFaxModem 144LC. I get the following when I issue the ATI3 command: V1.80-03c TR14-Jxxx-001 014 BTW if there is a newer and improved version, how would I go about getting it? <g> Trent One of the "Frozen Chosen"

The newest for your modem is 1.8-05 but you probably won't notice any difference ( it was mainly a bug fix for a few very odd situations). I would suggest not spending th $19.95 it would cost to upgrade them. Alex

Alex, Tnx, but what type of odd situations would you be talking about (how am I not to know that these situations donot happen here regularly <g>).. I ask as I been having problems with phone connections (it might be the lines, but it also may be the modem).. Trent One of the "Frozen Chosen"

If you were trying to use silent answer when DTR wasn't high it wouldn't work. Alex Supra Technical Services

Hmmm… OK tnx Alex.. Guess then loosing carrier on a regular basis is not one of the bugs. Looks like it is the phone lines then. Trent One of the "Frozen Chosen"
