Hello all – I found out what was happening. Some of the faces were flipped. I just did a object flip and all was well. It's fun writing to myself 🙂 I even get answers. I wonder if it's the same as talking to myself? Mark

Mark I'm not sure what causes faces to be reversed during a surfrev but probably reving in the opposite direction would fix it but by then you might just as well do an object flip. TedB !^NavFont01F0007MGHHG97871A

When you create a Surfrev path in a counterclockwise direction (the default), and use Align Right rather than Align Left, the normals will be reversed. Likewise, if you create a clockwise path and use Align Left, the faces are reversed. I don't know why this didn't make it into the docs. I seem to recall writing it up, but I couldn't find it just now. – Jack

Ted, You guessed right, reversing the rotation dirrection does orient the normals in the other direction. – Phil
