#A2620 question
5 messages in this thread
Does anyone remember the A2620 accelerator for the A2000? I just picked one up
without a manual. I understand that the board can be booted with either its
68020 or the machine's original 68000 in charge, but have no idea how.
Anybody know?
Steve, try holding both mouse buttons down while you boot. You should get
a special menu. I think this might have changed in the last rev of the
ROMs. Maybe somebody else can fill in.

Steve,
as I recall, just hold down both mouse buttons on boot-up and you'll
get a screen displaying your options.

Steve:
If the board has older ROMs on it, just hold down both mouse buttons while
booting. If it has the lastest set of ROMs, then you'll have to hold down
only the right mouse button to get to that menu. The change was made
because with the newer versions of the OS holding both buttons gets you to
a different bootmenu. Hope this info helps.

Thanks, Mike. Several folks knew the double-button menu in the OS (I hadn't),
but you were the only one to know the right button would select between CPU's.
That's 2 new things I learned today…
