Does anyone have experience with Music-X 1.1 or 2.0 and the Triple Play Plus MIDI interface. Does that combination work in the sense of being able to use 48 channels through the multibank feature of Music-X. I need to purchase a new interface and want to be sure I spend my money well and have compatibility. Although I may eventually get B&P PRO for my studio, I've already invested in KCS, SoundScape and Music-X over the years and would like to defer buying another sequencer at this point. I need to get an interface very soon and so would appreciate any solid advice or experience. Thanks, Chris

No, unfortunately the only company that has taken advantage of the Triple Play Plus so far is Blue Ribbon… if you want 48 channels you will need Bars and Pipes Pro. The good news is that it is a very good sequencer!! I used Music-X and KCS, and I have occasionaly gone back to KCS for the PVG, but B&P has been my staple since I got the original version. Check it out… you will most likely like it!!! Bill… on Autopilot in Womelsdorf 😉

Thanks for the info Bill. Out of curiosity, what is your main application for B&P? Is it primarily music or multimedia? Are you using the Triple Play Plus or do have other suggestions as well? I'd be curious if Blue Ribbon has an upgrade or trade in policy to switch to B&P Pro, or a deal if you buy it plus the TPP interface. I'll check in with them. Chris

My primary application (only?) is music production… I am using the TriplePlayPlus on the OneStopMusicShop at the moment, but plan to add the TPP real soon for even more channels! Contact Blue Ribbon here to see if they have any cool deals… I would not be surprised!! Bill… on Autopilot in Womelsdorf 😉

Thanks Bill, I've left a message with Adam Nitti, so we'll see if they can come up with a deal. Chris
