John, Thanks for using the "ISO-9660" format for the "PC" CD-ROM. I wish that more of the PC/MAC people would do the same as it makes the CD-ROM universal in its use by different platforms. Thanks Laurie Carroll AKL NZ Longdistance Autopilot

Laurie, I haven't been in the Amiga forums in a few weeks and only today say your message regarding the Vistapro CD-ROM. I thought virtually all newer CD-ROMs on the PC were ISO-9660 — maybe the Mac is different. Of course that only means you can access the data (landscapes, images, etc.) on the Amiga, you still can't run the PC software. Hope you're enjoying Vistapro… John.

Mac uses the HFS format on CD-ROMs, as I recall. Unique to the Mac, as usual. Apparently some CD-ROMs come with multiple platform bootups; how that's achieved I don't know. — Ron Legro / MILWAUKEE WI USA via AUTOPILOT ["Phun, phun, phun on the Infobahn…"]

Ron, Thanks for the info about the Mac using HFS format on CD-ROM's I was unaware of that. I guess the Mac has to do everything it's own way! John.
