#POVCAD?

A while back I read someone talking about a shareware cad-like program for
Windows that exported DXF's (blob shapes especially) that could be used in
Imagine 3.0. Forgive my CI$ illiteracy, but I can't find any Windows apps that
look like they fit the bill. I looked in the Graphics Developer Forum, but
didn't know where else to try. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Actually their are quite a few nice programs like the ones you mentioned. Are
you simply looking for conversion software to get to a DXF file format or are
you looking for BLOB / POV CAD software?
I have seen all of these types of programs on the graphics developers forum.
If you give me a more detailed description of what you're looking for, I'll
check out my recent downloads and see if I can help you out at all.

Thanks! I'm kind of looking for both, actually. I'd like to take advantage of
existing DXF objects in Imagine, and if I can easily make blobby shapes, that's
great too. Thanks again.

Modelling package to create POVRay files.
BLOB Sculptor 1.0 BLOBW.ZIP (6/6/94)
Creates BLOBs and outputs to POVRay, PolyRay, Rayshade, DXF, RAW.
WorldRender WRDDE.ZIP (5/9/94)
Converts to/from many different formats with some simple editing tools as well.
This is only a DEMO, but it's very inexpensive. I have not purchased it
myself, but it looks really nice (Windows) and it looks like it can convert
Imagine objects.

Convert AutoCad .DXF files to 3D Studio files.
DXFtoRAW DXFRAW.ZIP (9/15/93)
Converts AutoCad .DXF to .RAW format.
