#OzCIS for sysops?
3 messages in this thread
Hi, Rick–
In conference, Norm told me you need to request permission for me to be able
to get TapSys from the TAPCIS forum, and there would be a week or so of
waiting. But much more interesting to me was his mention of a sysop version of
OzCIS; since I already use Oz, that might be more to my taste. Does that one
also require a permission?

Doug,
You misunderstood my comments. TAPCIS has a SYSOP version, and in order to get
access to the section in which the _SYSOP_ version is kept, your primary SYSOP
has to request it from the TAPCIS people. You can download the non-SYSOP
version any time. I believe that there is a SYSOP version of OzCIS also, that
you can simply request on your own via a message to *SYSOP in the OZCIS forum.

Hi, Norm–
Thanks, I'll try that in OZCIS. I did understand how it worked with TAPCIS
and was wondering if it was similar with Oz. I only noticed your remark about
a sysop Oz when I was reviewing the conference log before posting it; that one
got by me in the actual conference, or I would have been asking then.
