Syquist Instal Problem

I just purchased a Syquist removable media drive. I already have two
hard drives on my system. I don't see a way to create another slot
for the Syquist. Does this mean that the Syquist cannot coexist with
the two other drives?

I assume that you mean there are no physical locations in your PC Chassis to
place the Syquest drive, but you DO have room for the adapter card. You have a
couple of options. First, you can probably find a larger case in which to
re-assemble your whole computer – for under $100 with a new power supply. Be
careful, since some systems like Packard Bell do not use standard motherboard
arrangements and won't fit a standard case. Second, you could buy an external
chassis for mounting additional drives – this may be a little more expensive,
but probably a little less work.
If your refering to DOS' 2 HD limit. The latest versions of DOS
supposedly _can_ access more than two drives but not all SCSI card
work with this feature. You can use Syquest's driver (if it didn't
come with your drive call Syquest) or CorelSCSI.

It all depends on what controller you will be using. Most modern SCSI
controllers will automatically detect the Syquest and assign a DOS
drive letter to it. You can have up to seven drives chained into each
controller and at least two controllers per system (up to 14 drives).
