Thanks for the tip. I've decided to scrap the WFW approach and am glad that
you could provide me with a tried and tested solution. I had called Novell and
asked them about Netware Lite but they didn't seem to know much about using it
with 3DS. Looks like I'll try it out. Thanks again

FWIW, I use Novell Personal Netware (Lite) on three machines with no problems.
Both Win3.1 and WfWG recognize and use it as well.
I'm having trouble getting WinNT to recognize it, but it's mostly because I
don't know what I'm doing<g>
