I want to by a recordable-CD-ROM drive,but I`m not familiar with these
things.Is there anyone who can tell me something about prices,stores and
several systems?

Have a look in the Incat forum (GO INCATS) for some basic information including
a comparison chart of CD recorder technical specs. That should help you get
started.

In the library of the CDROM Vendor B forum you can also find demos of the
CeQuadrat CD recording software 'WinOnCD ToGo!' and 'Vulkan'.
GO CDVENB or GO CEQUADRAT. Or call in Germany 0241-9631100. The sales people
there can also provide you with information on CD recorders.

Don't underestimate the importance of the software you choose. My advise is to
try as many as posible and
then select the package that is most suited to your needs. Most vendors will
have demo versions of there
software available. You can start by downloading a demo of our GEAR software.
GEAR is available for
Windows, Mac, Power Macintosh, Sun OS, Solaris, DEC and HP-UX. Just "GO GEAR"
and select the
elektroson section. For more information you can send me a message. I am also
sending you a dealers list
for Germany. They can supply you with more info.
