Hi everybody, First of all, i'm a french man ( sorry for my english ). I'm searching a utility whitch create moutains. I have a plan with the lines of the altitudes and i want to convert it in dxf, 3ds format. Someone can help me ?

"In the beginning . . . " Richard – the fastest utility I know of to form Digital Terrain Models (DTMs) is the Contour package from Plus 3 Software in Atlanta, Georgia. Doesn't require AutoCAD, outputs DXF files, and suggested retail is around $500. Next in line would probably be 3d Surf from Schreiber Instruments. It runs inside of ACAD and was retailing for $150 in May. If you haven't played with terrain modeling, consult with some local surveyors or civil engineers regarding the proper means of using countour data to form accurate DTMs. There are a few tricks to be learned.
