Best to have a copy of each IPAS in each slave's process directory and that
local directory in the path. This will prevent other network problems as well.

Thanks, I'll give that I try, but like you said, I think the problem is that
I'm using the original version which isn't compatible with network rendering.

In addition the original flare was designed for the color space of release 2.
It will revert to 8 bit color when used in release 3. You should get the
latest version for this reason as well.
