I am trying to access some video/animation files that have a DIR extension. Do
you know what that was created in so I can play these files?

hi Rick. i have no idea what program this question refers to. is this Animator,
Animator Pro or Animator Studio? 3D Studio? Wordperfect? <g> what program are
you using and what types of files are you trying to access?

Hi Rick,
These are Macromedia Director 4.0 files. They are interactive sprite-based
animation with text, audio, and video, and are designed to play back only as a
resource to the executable with which they shipped.
