dual screen

I've never heard of the SPEA Mercury board, but I have a bunch of machines
running two monitors…all of them use either a Kelvin 64 / Truevision
combination or boards from Maxvision corporation…
3D Studio isn't real specific about which card it uses for what…but you have
to have the ADI drivers or have your boards in the inline drivers.
If your cards are TIGA they will most certainly do dual screen; but no one
seems to use TIGA anymore (except me!)

Brad,
This is exactly correct, the problem is he has two identical video cards (if I
understand coorectly). When selecting it from the Vibrant List, you select the
same entry, so How does 3D Studio know when to send to each card?
My only suggestion to try: Use one of the cards with the Vibrant Drivers, and
one of the cards with the older ADI drivers. Then it will know which card is
the main display, and which card is the render display.

Brian,
I don't know either….I would almost suggest he return the cards and get
something a little more "mainstream". Like a good old TIGA based card for your
second screen; works every time.
