Hi Greg,
I just found out I had to get a hotel in Pasadena cause everything else was
booked. How long of a trip back & forth can I expect?

Depends on exactly where and of course the time, but figure around 45 minutes
to our office / open house.

Yes, please. I'd love to see an office bigger than my spare
bedroom! <g> I'll bet YOUR office doesn't have blazing fluorescent
green pile carpeting! Or a closet full of sportscoats and slacks
from the 70's. Or a 5' x 3' black velvet Elvis. Quite the
psychedelic environment I've got going here. %-)

AACCKKK!!! You're ruining my mental picture of you – starched white shirt,
fresh clean jeans, bowl of fresh fruit on the pristine table, all manuals
neatly in order on the library shelf in alpha order.
Joe still talks about the green polyester leisure suit I dumped out of
his closet when we got married. Says it travelled all over the world
with him stuffed in his sea bag. i stuffed it in the garbage bag <G>

Hmmmm… lasted about two days before the second law of thermodynamics
kicked in! <g> I recently tripled my desk space, and somehow tripled the
number of "miscellaneous" piles I tend to accumulate.

think, and was hoping someone would be heading that way and didn't mind picking
up a strange Australian tourist along the way.

It sounds like a whole bunch of us are going to be at Siggraph and we'll all
need a ride to Greg Pyros' place. Its starting to sound like we should just
charter a bus from say 3pm to 10pm or something.

Well, I can fit five comfortably in my car, and the more the merrier, far as
I'm concerned.

Why not say 12:00pm to 7:00pm? Then you'll be here with the rest of us! :^)

Could be 5 to 15 minutes, depending on what part.

You must be very close to 134 if you are in Pasadena. Find your way to
5 South (this should be 134 East or West going to I-5 South). Take
I-5 south towards downtown LA. You will then see signs for 110 south
(still towards downtown LA). Just before I-10 you will see signs for
The Convention Center (I believe it is Pico Blvd.) Enjoy Sigraph.
From there (Pico Blvd.) ,take the on ramp to I-10 going West…
Continue for 20 minutes till you get to 405 FWY going south towards
LONG BEACH (a 45 minute drive to Greg Pyros… He can take it from
here. Double-check with your map too.
